Hair Loss Myths

Common Myths about hair loss.

#1 you can improve circulation to your scalp and make your hair grow back by doing handstands!! Not true.

hair loss has nothing to do with standing on your head doing hand stands!

It is true that circulation does play some part but doing handstands for a few minutes will not make any difference to this!

#2 If you parents are bald you will be too. This may be partly true but it depends on many factors. Hair loss can come from one or both parents and it can be triggered by enviromental as well as other factors too.

If there is hair loss on both sides of your family you need to take extra care with your hair.

#3 A poor diet will wreck your hair growth, cause unhealthy hair and induce hair loss.

There is a lot of truth in this and you shold be aware that what you eat is relfected in your hair. It it is not unknown for people who move to a different place and eat a completely different diet to suffer sudden hair loss. You need to look at what you are eating carefully and take steps to protect your hair.

Hair loss is not caused by any single factor. Although your genes are a major factor you can still influence when, if at all you lose your hair by paying careful attention to your diet and your lifestly and if you look after your hair it is sure to stay on your head much longer. Going bald is bad enough but if you suffer premature hair loss that is preventible it is even worse.
